Faux Big Brother

Nine rather gullible women were freed from a villa in Istanbul, Turkey Sunday. The women all answered an add for participants for a big brother type reality show. They signed contracts that prevented them, with a large monetary penalty, from leaving before the two month 'show' was done. At one point the women, aged 16 to 24, realized something was not right and asked to leave. They were told they had to pay the penalty in order to go. The parents of one of the women went to police, who investigated and found and released the women. The point of the exercise? Naked pictures of the women were being sold on the internet without their knowledge or permission. At least one man has been arrested.

Drunken Monkeys

A study of Vervet monkeys shows a similar percentage of drinkers and non-drinkers as the human population, but the real entertainment is the monkeys stealing the drinks!!

More Dumb Criminals

"Wanna Go Out?"
Three men robbed a home in Columbus, Ohio Sunday night. One of them, Stephfon Bennett, was quite taken with the victim, apparently. He returned two hours later to ask her out, and she recognised him as one of the robbers. Well, at least she remembered him. What Time Is It?
While at a Wilmington, Delaware restaurant Sunday a Delaware State trooper noticed a vehicle parked close to his own. After the Chevy Blazer left the trooper found that his car was broken into and his wife's wallet was stolen. He went after the Blazer and found a 54 year old man going through the glove compartment of an SUV. The man tried to drive away, and the trooper stopped him. At which point the trooper noticed the man was wearing a very distinctive watch. A 20th anniversary Delaware State trooper watch that had been stolen from a fellow trooper two years ago.
