Alone No More
The cute little ginger seal pup was not accepted by her colony. She would not have lived if she had not been rescued and moved from an eastern Russian island to the Akvatoria dolphinarium on the mainland. She is now lavished with attention and will be placed with the other seals there after her one month quarantine period is up. Acceptance and love, isn't that what we all want really?

Topless Basketball League
A number of strip clubs around the country are intending to start a topless basketball league. They will be coming out with a game schedule in January. Gee, nobody will miss LeBron then.

Strange Food Combos
Everyone has heard of turducken by now, but how about a few more food inside other food combinations? Inside out spaghetti, pictured above, looks a bit like meat with worms coming out, but some of the others shown at the link aren't too bad. The spaghetti noodles put through hot dog slices and cooked sounds neat too.

Odd Pastimes of the Rotarians
Curling? Curling!?! Was this really a prime activity of the Rotary Club, even--or especially--back in 1973?
Interstate curling leagues and tournaments? Charity curling events, attended by beaming wives and kids?
Somebody please inform us if they ever heard of a connection before, between Rotarians and curling.
"Taping," by the way, for all you youngsters out there, does not refer to crafting items from duct tape or preparing one's hands for a mixed martial arts bout, but to capturing sounds with one's reel-to-reel magnetic tape recorder.
