Speer’s Sambuci Wine
What is this miraculous "sambuci wine?" I'm glad you asked.
Preparation.—Take of elder bark, parsley root, each, in coarse powder, 1 ounce; sherry wine, 1 pint, or a sufficient quantity. Form into a medicated wine by maceration or percolation, as explained under Vina Medicata, and make one pint of the preparation.
Action, Medical Uses, and Dosage.—Wine of elder is useful in dropsical diseases, especially ascites, and dropsy supervening upon scarlatina or other exanthematous diseases. Dose, 2 fluid ounces, 3 or 4 times a day.

Palcohol
Palcohol, powdered alcohol, sneak it into 'dry' venues or places where booze is prohibitively expensive. The makers say it can even be snorted, but use responsibly. It has been approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and should be available this fall.
Update: After all the hype the Feds say maybe not.

Thin Mints: a sparkling Shiraz, or a hoppy, chocolatey American porter.
Samoas: a fortified wine (such as R.L. Buller Victoria Tokay), or a dry, Irish stout aged in bourbon barrels.

Invented by fresh-out-of-college entrepreneur Don Poynter in 1954, who laughed all the way to the bank since the stuff proceeded to become the best-selling novelty item of the 1950s and 60s, despite the efforts of some states to ban it. But eventually the market was flooded by imitators, at which point Poynter branched out into crossword-puzzle toilet paper and trick lighters, and continued to make oodles of money.
