Buttered Flip

In an old American medical journal, The Philadelphia Medical Museum (1811 - Vol 1, No.4), Dr. Richard Hazeltine of Berwick, Maine shared a traditional yankee recipe for "buttered flip" cough medicine:

Often in the imbecile age of childhood, after I had gone to bed have I sip'd, and with no great reluctance, the steeming, salutiferous "buttered flip;" administered by the careful hand of an affectionate mother, to several, perhaps, of her tender offspring, who were affected with various catarrhal complaints, brought on by wet feet, and exposure to sudden vicissitudes of the weather.

The "buttered flip" was composed of recent urine, obtained from some one of the children, hot water, honey, and a little butter: and it generally removed the complaints for which it was given. Exhibited in this manner, it never puked; but it promoted expectoration and sweat.

If you visit Hong Kong you can try one of these lovely pastries that poop and puke when squeezed. Can't believe it wasn't from Japan!

Learning Urinal Simulator

Urinalman.com describes itself as a "learning urinal simulator":

You have to go pee, you come to a public washroom and some toilets are used, which will you use? This simulator simulates this critical life desision and will let you know where you "stand".

Pee in the pool

Michael J. Beach of the Centers for Disease Control's Healthy Water program recently revealed why people often get stinging red eyes while swimming in pools. It's the chlorine in the water combining with pollutants such as pee and sweat:

"Chlorine binds with all the things it's trying to kill from your bodies, and it forms these chemical irritants. That's what's stinging your eyes. It's the chlorine binding to the urine and the sweat."

I view this info as part of the CDC's continuing campaign to really gross people out about swimming pools, since it follows up on the report they released back in 2013 (posted on WU here) about the high level of fecal contamination in pools.

Pee .. Beer .. Recycle

imageimage

A company is now making Beer from urine and other sewage waste water. I think this would be good for the space station as they do something similar but only get back the water.

Poop Colors

A simple website on a narrowly focused topic. I assume its creator is making money via the link-based ads running on the site.

And I see that the URL peecolors.com is available for purchase. So if anyone wants to offer poopcolors.com some competition (or imitate its money-making strategy), now's your chance!

A Sad Life

How sad does one's life have to be for him to follow a woman around Walmart and masterbate? Bonus: it was the Kissamee Walmart but I don' t think he got a kiss.
