His Wife’s Arm
An unusual tombstone in a Newport, Rhode Island cemetery, placed by Mr. William Tripp, commemorates his daughter, Wait, who died April 24, 1780, aged 10 months 10 days. Also, his son William who died March 7th, 1784, aged 22 months. And “Also his wife’s arm amputated Feby 20th 1786.”The amputated arm is depicted in a carving placed in the middle of the tombstone.

Corpse In 3D
A Chinese funeral home is now using 3D technology to restore the deceased when the body has been badly disfigured in death. It is said to be much better than just makeup to make the person who has passed on look presentable for the bereaved family. It is expensive, of course.

Would you drive by the above and keep going thinking it was fake? A man beheaded his mother and kicked her head around before stepping in front of a train. Passers-by said they thought it was a Halloween prank.
