Herbivorize Predators
The Herbivorize Predators organization was founded "with the goal of discovering how to safely transform carnivorous species into herbivorous ones." Its members believe that this will promote the well-being of all sentient beings and prevent the suffering and untimely deaths of prey animals.They acknowledge that their mission is controversial but feel that "now is the time to conduct research on potential ways of herbivorizing."
It's certainly an ambitious goal. I think they'll have their hands full just trying to herbivorize humans.

Leather For The Discerning Vegan
Students from Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam Netherlands collaborated on a project that would almost certainly have PETA's approval. They used the food waste from a large local market to make fruitleather. The product was used to make purses as well as swatches to show the different colors available depending on the fruits used. Leather you don't have to hide.

The makers of the Prestige LifeStraw water filter claim that their filter is so good that it produces "vegetarian water."

Meat Eaters
A textbook being used in some schools in India describes "meat eaters" in highly unflattering terms. Apparently, according to the book New Healthway, those of us who indulge in "flesh food" are liars, cheats and sex offenders. Gee, I didn't know protein caused criminal behavior.

Vegan Gets Pied!
Even though this particular vegan under assault has apparently come over to the bacon-lover's camp, it's still good to see a vegan made to answer for the sins of their hideous lifestyle.
