Windows 10
Is there anyone else here on WU doing the Windows 10 beta testing ? Whether or not post your comments about it.
Windows 8 and 8.1 (thinking of you Expat) are gonna be like ME or Vista. Today they released build 10074.

@BMN : WU is managed by Paul and Alex and I can't speak for them. I am VERY privileged now to be able to post. The Windows 10 Build 10074 is an insider preview even on the business enterprise platform I am beta testing that some other testers may not get yet. Keep up your nice comments and support of WU. As mentioned I finally got the .org and added the .us domains to the site.

I used to program (mostly educational stuff but some business too) and we were really hitting our stride when Windoze took over the market. We tried to make the switch but as a small (3 guys) software house in a small country Micro$oft pretty well ignored us. We had a multilingual educational program on the drawing board but needed some critical info on Windoze that Micro$oft refused to let go. So... I retired and started readin WU and things have just gone down hill from there. 😕

Yes, BMN, if you use Windows, you still run DOS. It's something all Windows users do, and despite what your coach or your friends may tell you, it's not a sin and there's nothing abnormal about it. Using DOS won't make you go blind or insane. In the past, people used to run DOS openly and they weren't the least bit ashamed of it, but now we usually do it behind Windows so no one can tell we're doing it.

Many of us remember even building our kit computers. It dates us but also validates us. We were there when it began with out PET, Amiga, Atari etc. We learned 8080, 8082, Z80, 6502 hexadecimal programming etc.

have 3 diff eval Win10s in Virtualboxes - unless something comes up before final release, I don't see any defining reason to switch over from 8 or 8.1. Win7, maybe, if want it
