A Robot That Parks Cars

No, not Marvin (ref.), this one is from the Computer Science Department of Stanford University and it not only parks cars, it does so awesomely!

The only disappointment is that it doesn't come with a little row of strobing red lights on the front.

Am I the only one who wants to have a ride in this thing. I think having a car "do a Toyota" (formally referred to as "doing a Herbie") then pull off stunts worthy of a pro driver while you're strapped in the back would put the "Tower of Terror" to shame!
:cheese:

that looked cool, but how many times did it fail first? also, can they repeat the sucess at will, or was it a fluke?

How old is this? They already sell cars that can parallel park all by themselves ... push a few buttons and sit back, don't touch the steering wheel, and it'll park itself. See for yourself Granted, they don't do it at quite this speed.

Hrm, another typo Expat, or is Widows Vista what you can see from a Widow's Walk?

Well, I usually call it WinTrash but typos work for me too.
