Homosexuals are possessed by putrid smelling demons according to Holy Fire Ministries founder Burt Farias. These demons are so foul smelling that other demons stay away from them and pigs prefer death to possession. Where do these people come from? Second source article here.

He didn't say anything about farts, he just said putrid-smelling. And farts aren't always putrid-smelling; and other things besides stinky farts smell putrid, e.g. rotting fish.
What he said was weird enough (and he provided no Biblical evidence, just an assertion); no need to embellish, or make unjustified inferences.

Farts can be loud and odourless; they can be loud and stinky; they can be silent, but deadly. I've let the entire spectrum of them rip, at various different times, and I'm sure you all have, too.
Only some of them would I classify as truly putrid in terms of their odours, not all. 😊
That QUEERTY journalist (and the editor) from whom you got the false 'fart demon' quote was dishonest. One of the commenters called them out on it, too:

This guy is a jerk, but on reading his real article, he never once mentioned “Fart Demon”. If you are going to sensationalize this you don’t need to put words in his mouth, he is perfectly capable of demonstrating his “douchiness” himself. No need to lie.

Sorry to be so humourless on a humour-oriented blog I normally enjoy and often link to, but the fact remains, Bert Faria never used the term 'fart demon' anywhere in the original Charisma article, cited by both sources. Yet y'all haven't changed your post's first sentence; all you did was add the link to the erroneous source, without acknowledging what I informed you of.
Ah well; your blog; your call, on whether or not you wish to amend your post to reflect the truth, which you certainly all know now. I'll just be careful to continue to do as I did in this case, and check any outlandish-seeming claim given here against the primary source.

I don't mean to come across as snarky; I just believe in accuracy and honesty. Goodness knows there's enough true weirdness out there for y'all to cover; the idea of a person's sexual orientation being the product of a stinky demon, rather than within, is weird enough in itself...
