OK, maybe I am a little dense; but I failed to see any point to it. But then I have never really understood Avante Garde performance art.

Mine did that Scout and I did not like it either. I couldn't watch it all the way through. If by Avente Garde you mean talentless dreck, then good call Yogi.

Talentless dreck is one good description of it. Some of the others are not suitable for a family friendly site.
I also include in that category the so called art pieces placed in public places at taxpayers expense. Some of them cost many millions of dollars that could be better spent on things like feeding poverty stricken families or helping victims of disasters.
And that applies even more so now that governments are becoming seriously cash strapped.

Addendum to my last post...
I wonder if municipalities could be forced by the citizens to auction off all those hideous "works of art" to supplement the budget before they are allowed to raise taxes. Chicago could probably run several of its departments for a year on the proceeds.
