Of course most of us boys never had any money to buy the materials needed to complete the projects. Even then, after thinking on some of the adventures I went through, I'm surprised I made it out of my teen years alive.

A lot of fun has been taken out of growing up a kid in the name of PCness and safety too. I remember I could disappear for hours a day and my parents would not worry. Today we have lost that in most places. As good parents we now need to know where they are at all times and we do that .. sigh..... :down:

@Patty & Expat, Sorry to leave you waiting. But alas, Almost all of my childhood adventures involved trying to go FASTER! :lol:
Slowing down was never a concern, Till all the sudden, It was! :lol:
Like KDP & BD I was a free range kid. My friends and I ranged far and wide through the county and a good time was had by all! 'Cept the fish, Deer, Squirrels, rabbits etc.! :lol: :coolsmile:
