I can't get over the eggs, myself. They make it seem like rocket science to crack an egg, or boil one properly.

I have a sister-in-law in south NJ who created a disaster in the kitchen, often involving similar scenes as some of these kitchen mishaps, every time she approached it. My brother doesn't cook, so their kids grew up in diners, which is where the parents still eat today, all the time.

at least the kids are eating, danny! my mother is a fantastic cook, when she sticks to the basics. but unfortunately for us, she loves to experiment... "what would meatloaf taste like if I add x, y and z..." I've often wished we lived closer to a diner :lol:
