As a retired Naval Aviator, I have to give the USAF credit for one thing - the B-58 Hustler.

Sexiest. Airplane. Ever.

Off we go, into the lunchroom yonder.
Pushing girls out of the way.
Forward, boys! Start moving down the counter,
grab your grub, fill your trays!

Try the beans, they were prepared last Friday.
And the meat is tough as a mule.
The soup is cold, the bread's got mold.
Yes, anything beats the lunchroom at school!

(Sing to the tune of the Air Force Hymn.)

@KDP - That's...beautiful. (sniffle)

I think I heard that same tune at a Soviet ballet somewhere.

The SAC song reminds me of another, this one by the Air Force Reserve doing DISCO. There’s Only One Number 1, was only released as a recruitment aid from the 70’, some released on vinyl and also on plastic. It’s one of those songs that makes you want to put on your baby blue leisure suit and do your best John Travolta moves on the dance floor. Sadly my turntable is broken and I have been unsuccessful finding a playable version to listen on the internet.

Chorus

Air Force Reserve
Yeah, I joined the Air Force Reserve
Now I’m flying high and I’m feeling alive
In the Air Force Reserve

Reminds me of "Ever Onward IBM"... remember that? In BASICA?
