Cloudy Weather

Panama City had some neat inbound fog this past Wednesday. How lucky there was a helicopter in the air nearby to take some very cool pictures of the natural phenomenon.

It does resemble a phantom tsunami breaking over the ocean front buildings.

It defiantly shows why buildings along coast lines should be more streamlined.

Maybe it's just my screen but it looked to me like a giant, ghostly hand.

The fog pattern here looks almost like the (rather rare) phenomena of a Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud formation: you get this shape when there are wind speed differences and the interference of a tall structure (such as where mountains meet a large body of water.)
