I guess when you die your family wouldn't even need to remove the books. Just throw you in there with them.

True story: Dad built a plain wood casket for an acquaintance at the friends request. I think it cost a little more than 20 dollars but it turned out nice. He used 1 1/2 inch rope for the handles. Definitely unique in today's funerary hard sell climate.

New Orleans' first great chef and restaurateur, Warren Leruth, kept his (plain) casket in his office and used it for a wine rack.
