Q: What costs $38,000 a year and gives you the opportunity to run around with a broomstick between your legs?
A: A year at Harvard!

Somewhere, I'm sure, buried deep in my childhood memory is a picture of me running around the yard with a broomstick stuck between my legs while I repeatedly slap my butt and cry out, "Giddy-up Silver!". If this memory actually exists is unclear as it is locked away behind decades of mist and relegated to those years of childhood innocence.

So, can someone please explain to this old codger just why it is that the college students of today are running around with sticks between their legs pretending that they are budding wizards flying around a stadium in a mythical land? One can assume that they are all of (or over) the age of majority and eligible to pick our nation's leaders. And yet, there they are in their hundreds, running around some of the most prestigious campuses of our land with broomsticks between their legs pretending to fly.
