Corkhill Meat Loaf Monster

Was Corkhill's spokes-creature supposed to be a snowman, or some kind of living, talking meatloaf? The body seems all wrong for a snowman. So I have a suspicion it was a meatloaf monster.

Reminds me a little bit of a meatloaf mummy.

Once upon a time, I had a newspaper clipping with recipes for two meatloaves (meatloafs?), one to be served hot, the other to be sliced and used in sandwiches. iirc, the main difference was more breadcrumbs and no eggs.
