Endless Toilet Bowls

Constantin Brancusi's 1938 sculpture "The Endless Column" is quite famous. So much so that, as the Box Vox blog points out, not one but TWO artists independently came up with the idea of paying homage to it by making endless columns of toilet bowls — Tim Thyzel using white ceramic bowls (2001) and Konstantin Bojanov using red, acrylic resin casts of toilet bowls (2008).

Some of you stupid ignorant uneducated underprivileged individuals will, automatically think that both these works are directive but you'd be wrong on, at least, one count. While the 2001 offering by Tim Thyzel is, in fact, nothing short of a cude copy of the original the later, 2008 stroke of artistic genius by Konstantin Bojanov must be lauded for it's originality and anti-communistic outcry that can do nothing but inspire all enlightened individuals to engage in capitalistic endeavors.

I give it 3 thumbs up!
