"Hey Mabel, our dumb kid blocked the patio door with the dishwasher again. How about telling her to stop wearing that idiotic blindfold?"

I want one that pokes up through the counter with a toaster oven-sized unit which holds one or two plates, a cup, a glass, and some silverware. It'd be ideal for 99% of my meals -- take the dishes out, use them, return them, hit the button, and everything is ready for the next meal. No stooping, no wobbly racks, no chore of emptying the dishwasher and putting a rackful away.

I installed a new one a few months ago. The controls are on the top edge of the door, so you can't see the display when it's running. Nice look, but it makes the display useless. Maybe that's for the best, one of the cycles, when used with certain options, takes over seven hours!

Look like this ad was thought up by someone who a) knew absolutely nothing about dishwashers and b) wanted an excuse to feature a young girl in short shorts.

@Brian: and, combining the two, knew absolutely nothing about ten year old girls, in short shorts or in any other kind of clothing.

I find the cutlery tray to thin and high, it is hard to get the cutlery in and out without removing the entire wrack. I am using a cutlery holder from my old dishwasher in place of the one that came with the dishwasher. Very disappointing.. Arina Elli
