Today I found something not made from Nintendo.
In 2006 Japan started selling a cigarette case that helps you quit smoking. You would put your cigarettes into it and then you would have to set up a certain amount of time on a timer that was attached to it. You wouldn't be able to open it again until the timer runs out. I don't think this would help people quit because they could just set the timer to 1 second and start smoking again or you would just learn not to put cigarettes in that box. The site says you can also put candy/chocolate in it to help with a diet. Somehow I think it'd be even less effective in that usage... Too bad it's sold out.
