Seriously though, what are these people thinking? Surely if something is functionally as bad as having both your eyes poked out, why would anyone ever consider it useful? I guess fashion has decided it wants to be art, and leaving functionality to some other department.

The wiki link problem is the apostrophe, which is present in the text for the link, but is missing from the actual link itself.

It can't be a scold's bridle - there's no tongue piece. Maybe it's a space helmet for a bug-eyed ET.
