I don't recall ever knowing anything about these yo-yos, but as a kid, the car was probably the second-favorite Matchbox car in my collection. I imagine it came as a kids' meal toy.

I don't know if they were actually part of a racing team or just a couple of burger ad actors. I met them at the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, TN and watched their commercials for about a year.

I doubt they were a real racing team since this webpage is the first one that came up when I did a search for them. If they were real, there would at least be a wikipedia page on them.
