The first song, Wenn Du Ich Warst, sounds like the music style Helen Shapiro in Great Britain was performing around the same time.

Meh. No weirder than, say, Nancy Sinatra at the same time.

Also, the first song is mislabelled - that is not its title, it doesn't occur anywhere in the lyrics, and it's not even grammatical German.
