In the 80s, USA Network's Night Flight showed this a lot. Way better than that Lenny Bruce cartoon they showed, "Thank You Mask Man." The "joke" in that one was he's the Lone Ranger--and he's GAY! It was substantially less funny than it sounds, if you can believe it.
