There's a lot of roughage in their diets.

They profiled this couple on Animal Planet once, as part of a show about people with dangerous pets. This couple was the only one that didn't have a tragedy or a near-tragedy and still owned the dangerous pet (a house-bison). The wife was the nuttiest part of the whole thing; she has this big "I'm a Native" schtick, but she looks as white as me, and wears male ceremonial regalia without a hint of irony.
