Indy Driver Killed In Tragic Wreck

British race car driver, Dan Wheldon, was killed in a horrific wreck during today's Indy car race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The field consisted of 34 cars, 15 of which were involved to one degree or another in the accident. Wheldon, 33, was a husband and the father of two little boys. The drivers of the undamaged cars decided to cancel the remainder of the race and the drove a five lap tribute to their fallen colleague. Links: slide show of wreck pictures, Wikipedia entry
