At first I thought he was related to the guy who tightrope-walked across Niagara. But no, different name. So now we have:
Blondel, who troubadoured around Europe to find Richard I;
Blondin, who walked a tightrope across Niagara;
Blondeau, who goes downhill like a maniac on rollers.
Who knew such similar names would all do silly things?
