If we were discussing clothing then this would not be 'age appropriate' regardless of how good the ensemble looks. Some songs just don't cross over well.

This is pretty low-key for Smith. She was one of the last music hall singers who had to really raise their voice to be heard.

Still not as good as the Lawrence Welk singers doing "One Toke Over the Line." I guess since it mentioned Jesus, they thought it was okay.

I remember those days fondly - when singers sang each other's hits. You got some very odd interpretations, but better fun than just screaming and stomping.
