The mistake was giving little Timmy a wig, some makeup, and a silk nightgown. He's still straight, but very conflicted because he's prettier than the girls his age.

I think his mistake might have been tugging her neckline down sideways to cover her arm tattoo. How she wants to decorate her body is her business and she doesn't look like she was asking for correction. I mean, look at her face. She's stunned.

The mistake is trying to ride that bike in that gown. She'll never get her leg over unless she changes into some bloomers.
(Also, the perspective on that thing is... weird - but that's the artist's mistake, not Santa's.)
