Answer:

They're some of the things that Vera Jayne Palmer, aka Jayne Mansfield, was declared "Miss" of. Although she was probably a 'Mrs.' for most of these contests, having married her first husband at age 17.

She might just challenge Janis Paige for being "Miss Most Titles." However, Mansfield did decline several titles, including "Miss Roquefort Cheese" (because it "didn't sound right") and "Miss Prime Rib."

(Thanks to Jenny Beatty for contributing this!)

"Anxious to oblige almost anyone, Miss Mansfield has exuberantly posed (from left) as, 'Miss Negligee,' 'Miss Direct Mail' and 'Miss Goldmine.'"

I read about half the list before guessing correctly. WU has featured a few of the unconventional "Miss (insert product here)" contests over the past several weeks, and that helped me figure this one out.

I figured it was a list of flavors of marijuana for sale in Aspen.

"Miss Roquefort Cheese" didn't sound right, but "Miss Fill-er-up" was ok?

I'm not comfortable seeing that negligee next to the magnesium lamp! I do admire Miss Mansfield - she was very smart with a reported intelligence quotient in the high 140s. Too bad she came to such an untimely end.

As a side note, if you're reading this website on your smartphone or tablet through a wi-fi connection, you can thank Heddy Lamarr, another really smart actress who co-patented a device for guiding torpedoes that is the basis for some of the wireless communications we use today.
