I correctly guessed Scout merit badges, but I didn't know they were all discontinued. In my defense, it's been a very long time since I was a Boy Scout, and some of these didn't even exist at that time.

Like Fritz, I guessed merit badges, and I, too, didn't know they were discontinued. For that matter, I didn't know they ever discontinued any. Looking at the list, it seems to me they've been homogenizing/dumbing-down the options for a long time.

I got it, too. Don't we all wish we had gotten the badge in stalking. It would probably fetch a handsome price on E-Bay.
I have a friend who is a nuclear engineer. I'll check with him to see if he got the one for Atomic Energy.

Virtual, there's one up on eBay currently for $350 OBO. Stalking books are more reasonable.
