I thought it was a nice thing. There are families that fall through to cracks in this country. People who are struggling and make a $1 or 2 more than is allowed for help. We help and send money to other countries, don't you think our own poor deserve some consideration. There is some pc stuff on the show, but this is just performing good works.

That's true patty, we should take care of our own poor before we try to feed the rest of the world. Besides all too much of the food we send to some of the third world countries ends up being stolen by the military who are at least part of the reason the people are starving in the first place. And money tends to end up in Swiss bank accounts. At least if we feed a hungry child in this country we know the child is actually being fed.
