Nose Secret

What people will do in pursuit of beauty:

Nose Secret is advertised as "the only proven non-surgical nose job option with instant results that you can do on your own without the cost or hassle of nose surgery." By which they mean that it's little pieces of bendy plastic that you're supposed to shove up each nostril, in order to temporarily change the shape of your nose and make it appear more pointy.

What happens if you wear them while you're on a date, and then you sneeze? Also, $35 for little pieces of plastic seems a bit steep. [Via]

$35 for something tangible that will outlast a jar of $60 face cream sounds reasonable to me, Alex.

Buy, while we're on the subject, how long should one be prepared to wait for the blood flow to subside once you've rammed these up your proboscis?

Could these be used to fool the TSA?

This is one of four 'beauty products' which, when used together, change reference points just enough to fool facial recognition programs.

Phideaux,

RE: Facial recognition beauty products

So, we have this, a nail file (sand away those reference points!) and???

What are the other two?

@idaho -- nothing so drastic as mutilation by nail file. 😊

One is colored contact lenses with uneven shading -- it throws off the pupil-to-pupil measurement. Another is an anti-wrinkle preparation which tightens skin so much the corners of your eyes shift a tiny bit (you apply it only in specific areas). You don't need to know the 4th.

The important thing is none of these change your appearance so much that anyone will notice -- you still look like you. Using just one or two keeps measurements within range facial recognition allows. It's only when you use all four at the same time that you don't "add up" quite right.

Would these help with my "snow" damaged sinuses from my past  ways ???

As weird as it sound's the product is real. If you do not need plastic surgery this may sound weird to you but if you really need to put your best face forward, thumbs up for Nosesecret.

I got my pair few years ago and boy it has reshaped my nose big deal. $35 is nothing compared to thousands I could've had spent in cosmetic and possibly nose job.

visit you tube and grab a coupon from one of the reviewers if it sound to expensive to you.

A beautiful heart, mind, and soul is better than a perfect face or body.
