Well Expat47 (you're forgiven) having never had a penis of my very own I really wouldn't know what thats like. A first guess is that his/her brain has been wired for 52 years to perceive arousal a certain way and s/he hasn't gotten accustomed to the difference yet. Also, if I'm recalling correctly I believe the clitoris is a form of erectile tissue so technically s/he could still be having tiny little, annoyingly hard to find, erections.
