Please don’t throw explosives in the trash

A very British way of asking people to not blow up garbage workers:

[Detective-constable Frank Loydall] urged that members of the public wishing to dispose of explosives of any sort should not put them into dustbins or other refuse containers

Destructor? I remember when pedants complained about Mission Impossible using the term "self-destruct." I see Merriam-Webster has both. A destructor is an incinerator. They have the first known use of self-destruct as 1968, even though Mission Impossible started in 1966.
