Sara Mapelli, the Bee Queen

For more info, you can check out her website. The video of her "bee dance" goes on for quite a while, but at around minute seven she stops dancing and (still wearing her shirt of bees) joins a tea party already in progress.

Meh. It could have been improved in several ways: less clothing, Lorde (you can call me Queen Bee), stuff like that. How does it feel to have a bee swarm on you? I'm sure she got her jollies. How do you get them to stop when you're ready?

CannyScot, I worked with a beekeeper for a few summers while attending university and learned to respect the bee and her ways. Let me help your understanding.

First off, what looks dangerous here really isn't. European strain bees, which make up the majority of bees used for crop pollenization, are fairly docile. They have been bred that way.

A bee's feet are made of little hooks so they can grip the plant they land upon. It kind of tickles on an individual basis. I suppose that in these numbers it tickles a lot.

Finally, she has a captive queen attached to her body. You may have thought that honey was slathered on her torso to attract the workers. If the queen is removed and taken away, the workers will follow.

At last! From the land of milk and honey, a true Bee Movie!

A rather tedious way to get a body wax, though.

Just the thought of it gives me hives.

Forgive me for droning on and on...

What a Honey.
She is so Beeutiful.
As a reserve LEO I hope she doesn't end up part of a sting operation.
She kind of makes me hornet.

(tachdem took all the good puns)

I suppose I should drone on?

A Queen Bee walks into a bar.
The bartender says "Drone one on me".

It's a joke in the making. Who can come up with a better punch line? 😊

A bee-turtleneck? I bet she's packing an Adam's apple, (maybe a bee-ard if she's not leaving the house)!

Ick, I had to turn it off cuz I'm eating and it grosses me out.

@patty : You should have been eating honey ham. It's the bee's knees of sandwich meat. If I've offended then you can couch me if you can :red:

You realize that honey is bee spit, right?

First thing came to mind was the "Invasion of the Bee Girls" movie. A cult classic! Or maybe not.

@Nowra: You (gently) remove the queen bee and put her somewhere else.
