The Green Slime

I think I need to watch this just for Luciana Paluzzi. Rowf!

She still looked pretty darn good in 2007, on right below.

The Mediterranean did have some good exports back in the day.

Paul, you chauvinist pig! Imagine watching a movie just for the eye candy leading actress and completely ignoring the well crafted plot, special effects that must have employed the director's brother-in-law as effects producer and about two weeks of production time.

1969 was a great year for science fiction movies. Well, maybe a great year for not so great science fiction movies. Obviously a lot of production companies were trying to capitalize on the success of "2001: A Space Odyssey" from the previous year.

Notice the inclusion of Richard Jaeckel, a well known character actor. One of those guys where you've seen the face but can't remember the name.

Do you think the writer who came up with Alien saw this movie as a kid? Think acid blood, green slime.

I really need to slow down and read more carefully.

I read Luciano Pavarotti -- not quite the same thing...

If this is the same "Green Slime" movie as I remember (how many could there be?), it was bad even for Mystery Science Theater standards.

I like the theme song at the end of the trailer.
