"Poets and composers were commissioned by Robert Boudreau and the American Wind Symphony Orchestra as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the H. J. Heinz Company. It was their way of expressing gratitude and appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Heinz II for their encouragement and support of the American Wind Symphony since its beginning in '57."
