This will be winning MTV Awards and Grammys, I'm sure.

😠 What happens to all the dead bacteria after you apply that goo and do not wipe off the residue? I never use the stuff and rely on running water and soap.

I never thought about that, KDP. Same as happens with dead skin cells, I suppose - they get washed off next time you use soap and water, or else they are rubbed off on clothes, door handles and what have you.

I don't like the way those gels make my hands feel - the slightly filmy feel.

All that and the phone & TV remote are still hotbeds of D-zeezes!

That's the *CLEANEST* music video I've ever seen!

I saw the results of an informal test of surfaces in a typical office building. The dirtiest? Not the toilet flush handle, elevator buttons or phone receivers or buttons. It was the copy machine buttons.

Hand washing is SO important in healthcare settings. If the worker doesn't get sick they can carry germs to other patients. The ensuing nosocomial infections can possibly kill those already sick people. Therefore they get the message out in any way they think is going to be memorable to the target audience. Generally silly works.

I think it's pretty impressive that the performers are ordinary hospital workers. Looks like they had a lot of fun.

It's true that soap and water used correctly is much better than Purell and its ilk. There was disclaimer to that effect at around 2:52. When I took hand-washing training at a hospital that I sometimes work in, they didn't even mention the alcohol gels (though they have the dispensers everywhere).
