Ziggin and Zaggin

Back in 2003, the Pittsburgh Port Authority wrote the slogan "Ziggin Zaggin" on nine of its buses. Why ziggin and zaggin? Because, as one resident put it, "A vehicle zigs and zags through the city to pick somebody up. It’s a bus." But recently a driver noticed that if you read the slogan backwards, it spells an offensive word. The city has now announced that the slogans will be promptly removed. [CBS Pittsburgh]

And 'bus' spelled backwards is 'sub' and that could be an off-hand reference to those idiots that decided that 'niggaZ 'naggiZ was some kind of racial slur. So... just to make sure we understand each other...

Whenever two (or more) pigmented enhanced individuals get together it won't be long before one, or more, or all will be calling each other 'niggah' with, I must assume is NOT a racial slur because those to whom THE 'N' WORD' is supposedly ejected don't seem to be offended by it in the least. But maybe Brother Al could explain that better if we offer him a substantial 'donation' to his 'charity'.

That is definitely a niggardly reason for removing a slogan that I had no idea was racist until it was brought out. Thanks, libs.

Expat47 backwards and calculated through the science of numerology must certainly mean evil incarnate.

Dog backwards is God .. so all hail our pet lords.
Racecar spelled backwards is racecar (palindrome). BTW NASCAR needs back some of the demolition derby aspect as it is now boring to me. Turn left, turn left, repeat for hours.

People anymore seem to seek offense in any and everything no matter how crazy.

I'm surprised that the complainer actually paid attention to something appearing in their mirror. Considering that most ambulances have that word reversed across the front of the vehicle and the majority of drivers just ignore that anyway, even with the lights flashing, that driver is actually out of the ordinary.

Somebody was looking in a mirrored store front window as the bus passed I bet.

@BMN: Yea, I know. Speaking to the truth these days is really a BIG NO-NO.

A mirror image wouldn't do it. A backwards "g" is just weird.
