Follies of the Mad Men #35

Yes, in the 1950's every husband and father had to be emasculated in every possible way. Imagine trying to conduct some kind of Tennessee Williams-inspired affair with your local Liz Taylor of the suburbs while wearing these. The laughter would be heard from one end of the motel to the other!

You think this is funny? You should see my Saints boxers...or my batman boxers...or my scooby-doo boxers...well, I'm sure you get it by now. I'm a dad who gets crazy things for father's day. At least these are hidden unlike the 'blinking tie' I got for xmas.

Big Gary - You might be able to find some at Goodwill.

I guess I deserve that one.

Just so its known, while I have picked up a shirt or two from Goodwill (Greg Norman shirts no less), there are 2 items that are off limits.

1) underwear
2) shoes

I didn't take offense to that Gary. Most of the times I forget to put in those little emoticon thingies. Just about everything I post here is meant for humor, although I have been posting alot about my personal life lately, which is humorous I suppose. The kiddies are 7 and 9, and , like a good daddy, I wear the gifts they give...as long as I can cover it up with another article of clothing. 😉

Looking at these shorts, I wonder if real cops ever find themselves in these types of poses. A couple are either falling or jumping. In the group of three, one looks terrified. I think I would move to another city if this was representative of the police in my community.

I think my hubby would rather freeball than wear those...
