It would just get you laughed at. Hell, back then you didn´t even wear a helmet riding a motorcycle.

I can see this helmet in red with a Flash costume, or painted silver to make Ultraman, or even in green or brown as a German Baddie on a Motorcycle.

Look close. It's a toy army helmet with a fake leather liner cut as goggles and a neck protector. The flashlight mounts look sturdy enough. A nifty toy, not a safety helmet.

Absolutely, 100%, uncool.
Also unsafe. On a bicycle, you want a clear field of vision. Unless you're a racer, a bicycle helmet only gets in the way of safety. You're going to get side-swiped by a car you didn't see because your helmet got in the way, and who didn't think you needed to be cared about because your helmet would "keep you safe". (Citation: I'm Dutch. I do this every day.)
